The Albemarle County Police Foundation’s biggest event is back Wednesday, August 17, for the first time since 2019. Putt-Putt With Police is a community engagement event with mini golf, pizza, back to school supplies and more. The event is completely free so everyone has the chance to enjoy it.

ACPF receives donation from Charlottesville group

The Albemarle County Police Foundation is receiving a generous donation for its K-9 unit. The 100+ Women Who Care Charlottesville raised $7,500 to cover the costs of training Officer Daxel. Group members meet four times a year to nominate a charity of their choice. Co-chair Nancy Markos says supporting the county’s police K-9 unit was a no-brainer.
Meet the Albemarle County police officers working on Christmas Day
