Wills for ACPD Heroes
The Foundation provides wills, advanced medical directives and powers of attorney for the officers and staff of Albemarle County Police Department. This event is offered every spring and fall in partnership with UVA Law School and local private attorneys who donate their time and service. No one likes to think about the worst happening, but these essential documents provide peace of mind for those who protect us and their families.
3rd Annual Guardians Cup
The Foundation is hosting our 3rd annual Guardians Cup golf tournament!
Proceeds from this fundraiser will go directly toward officer wellness, community engagement and modernizing the Department through technology. Examples include the purchase of drones, a new bloodhound K-9, officer meals during holidays and Police Week, recognition events and large community events bringing thousands of children and families together with officers in a non-enforcement capacity to build relationships.
