In 1962, President Kennedy created Police Week "to pay tribute to the law enforcement officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country and to voice our appreciation for all those who currently serve on the front lines....". Each year police week is celebrated during the week in which May 15 falls. Please join the Foundation each May 15th in remembering those who have passed and appreciating those who protect us everyday.
