About the Foundation

The ACPD Foundation is a nonprofit organization focused on building relationships between our police department and community.

Our mission is to improve collaboration and overall public safety through police-community relationships by funding programs, events, and items that will allow the ACPD to operate more efficiently, enhance public safety, and engage the community.

Programs Funded by You

  • We host critical opportunities for the police to interact with the community in fun, relaxed, non-enforcement capacities. These events build strong police-community relationships which are essential to public safety.

  • We offer downpayment assistance to enable qualified officers to live in the County they serve.

  • We organize morale-boosting events, shift, meals, family days, and other community support efforts.

  • This program offers financial assistance to officers and staff obtaining their advanced degrees.

  • The Foundation funds grants that promote excellence in local policing. These grants support programs, initiatives, and projects that are strategically focused to complement the department’s policing strategies and not otherwise available from traditional funding sources.
